Earl Roland Bell Jr., UPS driver

Earl Roland Bell Jr., 65, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, at home. He was born June 25, 1949, in Dover, son of the late Earl R. Bell, Sr. and Aline (Givens) Bell.

Mr. Bell graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in Federalsburg, Md., in 1967. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971. Following his honorable discharge, he enjoyed a lifelong career as a driver with the United Parcel Service. He was a Miami Dolphins fan who also loved watching Western movies and woodworking.

He is survived by his companion, Vivian A. Fisher of Rehoboth Beach; three daughters: Angie Bell of Denton, Md., Stephanie Bell of Waldorf, Md. and Alicia Bell of Federalsburg, Md.; five granddaughters: Lindsay Ball of Denton, Md., Shaylin Taschler, Sabrina Taschler, Sophia Taschler and Sonya Taschler all of Federalsburg; two grandsons: Jordan Ball of Denton and Shawn Taschler of Federalsburg; and two sisters: Janice Bell of Plantation, Fla. and Cheryl West of Georgetown.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, at 11 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will follow services at Hillcrest Cemetery, 106 Denton Road, Federalsburg.
