Beracah Homes to show model home at state fair

Beracah Homes of Greenwood announced that after four years, it is returning to this year’s Delaware State Fair in a big way. As one of the Delaware State Fair sponsors, Beracah is bringing one of its model homes, The Delmarva, to the festivities.

This new model home will be decorated, fully furnished and air-conditioned for the duration of this year’s fair. Visitors are welcome to tour the model, and customers may even purchase this special fair model design while in attendance.

Beracah Homes CEO Roger Collison said, “Everyone enjoyed the years when we would bring a full home - built, set, finished and furnished - to the fair. We haven’t done that in a few years, and this year we decided to return to that tradition.”

Beracah Homes launched a price-conscious three-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,512-square-foot model home called The Delmarva earlier in the year, which features six possible front elevations. One of those models is on display in front of the Beracah factory in Greenwood. This new fair model is an additional variation of that home.

The Delmarva fair model will feature many upgrades such as laminate flooring, upgraded and additional cabinets in the kitchen, and a raised saddle porch with low-maintenance composite decking.

“When visitors leave this model, they’ll understand how well built every Beracah home is and be amazed at the price. Many people come to see the exciting decorations and bold colors of their models and this year will be no exception," Collison added. Brenda Collison is known for decorating each of the Beracah models and will work her magic on this year’s fair model as well. “Everyone wants to hire my mother to decorate their home after they tour the models; I tell her she’s missing her calling.”
