The August guest speaker for the Lions Club of Dover was Warren Hensley, public relations chair for the First State Corvette Club.
Hensley discussed the Corvette club’s continued support of Home of the Brave in Milford, where homeless women and men who served this country can receive services to assist them in becoming self-sufficient.
The First State Corvette Club will host its Wheels and Wine Festival from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Pizzadili Vineyard and Winery in Felton. Proceeds will be donated to Home of the Brave.
