Faw Casson CPA awards scholarships to future accountants
Faw Casson CPA firm recently announced the recipients of its 2024 Faw Casson Future Accounting Scholarships. Each year, this initiative recognizes high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence and a passion for accounting.
This year, three deserving students have been awarded $2,000 scholarships to support their higher education endeavors.
Cape Henlopen High School graduate Alexi Nowakowski has consistently excelled academically and has shown a strong interest in accounting. She plans to attend Vanderbilt University.
Sara Dawson, also a Cape High graduate, has been recognized for her academic achievements and interest in accounting. She plans to further her education at the University of Delaware, Virginia Tech or Penn State University.
De'Aira Lopez, a Woodbridge High School graduate, has demonstrated academic excellence and plans to pursue a career in accounting. She is considering attending Goldey-Beacom College, Delaware State University or Towson University.
